Nri Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited was incorporated as Nri Community Bank Nig. Ltd in 1992, set up to stimulate grassroots banking in the Nri community of Anambra State and beyond. The institution migrated to Nri Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited in 2007, in line with the CBN's Microfinance Banking policy of empowering the active poor and driving financial inclusion.
